1 - BUFFER TANK Wastewater is collected in a Buffer tank. This tank acts as a balancing tank reservoir and is used to separate solids, paper and other waste to be combined with the waste water

2 - EEC BIO SYSTEM.The first and the second chamber of the High-Speed Bio System is then filled with EEC Bio Media and water. The last chamber, which is a parallel plate settler, is filled with water only. Before beginning the pumping of the waste water, the system blowers must be started. The blowers force air through the manifolds into the first 2 chambers of the Bio system. The influent wastewater enters the first chamber and comes in constant contact with the Bio Media and air. The large surface area provided by the Bio Media helps to form large colonies of Bacteria. A circular motion of the Bio Media is caused by the air flow. Each element of the Media slowly moves in a circular motion from the surface to the bottom and then upwards again. During this movement, the Bio Media is in constant contact with the forced injected air. A slow Bio film process then starts to develop over each Bio Media element, which consumes the Bio mass present in the influent.

3 - CONTINUE. From the first chamber the influent flows to the second chamber through the perforated partition at the top. The same treatment is repeated in this chamber as well and the remaining bio mass from the first chamber gets fully digested. The treated water then enters the third chamber.

A baffle plate guides the water entering the third chamber downwards. The settler Media provides a large surface area for the suspended particles to settle down on its surface and then by gravity settles to the bottom reactor.

The clean surface  water Effluent in the Bio chamber is then let out of the Bio reactor and can be safely used for irrigation, or simply recycled and reused for Toilet flushing without any odors, or to meet any stringent effluent requirements.

Each system is carefully designed to meet clients demands to exact specifications in regards to influent loading and effluent requirements in respect to COD, BOD, TSS, Ammonia or Nutrients.
